CLEARED OUT

http://blog.cleveland.com/livingston_impact/2009/06/large_mike-brown-danny-ferry.jpg

Cleveland Cavaliers office is cleared out. With both Mike Brown and GM Danny Ferry gone, no replacements have been named so far. Could this all be in a attempt to keep Lebron James on the team, or this is simply for the betterment and the future of the Cleveland Cavaliers team Overall?

LeBron James and Mike Brown didn't always meet eye to eye with each other. While majority owner Dan Gilbert has said that it was simply time for the Cavaliers to head in a new direction, it is quite obvious that Brown was let go because he not only failed to bring a championship to cleveland this year, but also as an attempt to appease James and convince the star player to stay.

Brown or Ferry has been replaced yet. Nor replacements been names for ether man. Even though many have blamed Gilbert and james for brown's firing , it may be a good thing for cleveland to bring in a new coach and a new perspective.

Coach Mike Brown was with the Cleveland cavaliers for five season, and in those five seasons the closest he brought the Cavaliers was the second round of the NBA playoffs. Maybe just maybe that the Cavaliers would have a new coach, they would have a chance to rebuild their program and advance further than they had previously under Brown. Not to say that he is not a good coach, but sometimes you have to try a diffrent look.

No matter who coaches this Cavalier team, they will have a lot to live up to. They don't only have to do as well as brown, not saying that they don't want better, but they will also have to prove themselves to the Cavaliers players and fans. Whoever fills this position will have to bring home a winning season if they hope to have a future Career with the cavaliers.

DOOMS DAY JULY, 1ST

                                         LeBron James

Now everybody is worrying about July,1st. Everyone wants to know what will Lebron do?
Which team makes the most sense for him? Which city would be most comfortable in? Which wingman would be best fit? Most important who will help him get a ring! ?

Lebron wants to be the first billion-dollar athlete but tiger woods and Michael Jordan both appear to beaten him to that. James should stay where he is, with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He can earn  more money by staying where he is.

The numbers won't appear now until july, but Cleveland, his home town will be able to offer LeBron a six year deal worth $126 million. The biggest contract any other team can offer such as the Knicks is a five year deal worth $30 million less. This is why he may stay with his home town.

But, we all know players like Lebron make many more dollars off the court, working with endorsements. In 2009,Forbes magazine ranked Lebron as the sixth richest athlete in the world, with an estimate $40 million in earnings, less then half of that was his salary with the cavaliers.

Some say that New York is the other most appealing option for Lebron. Thats not a lie, there is the opportunity to play 41 plus times per season in Madison Square Garden. Playing in his home town doesn't seem to hurt him in terms of merchandise sales.

Mr. James is already awash endorsements. He signed a seven year, $93 million deal with Nike before he even graduated from high school. In addition, he has deals with McDonald's, Coca Cola and state farm.

So do money really matters? not really. Lebron is making millions from other comapanies then the NBA. Its just the matter of players that he could work with. July will he a opening month for most Lebron and Cleveland fans.

Will He stay? Will he come to New York? Is his choice Correct? We Will see!

ABOUT NEW YORK

The New York Knicks have put that battery in LeBron' back to come to their home town. They want "The best player of all times". The Cleveland Cavaliers have him now but he become a free agent in July. In July he goes where he wishes but New York really wants this guy.

Many people such as Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg and other prominent New Yorkers have turned themselves into mendicants, all but getting down on one knee to beg the Ohio-born Mr. James to abandon his home state and grace New York with his talent.

In some case, help is needed in many places and it is understandable and easily proven. The Brooklyn-bound Nets of New Jersey established themselves this season as one of the worst bunches ever assembled. The New York Knicks is on nine straight losing season. They need help with skill, talent and entertainment.

The Knicks need a savior. This is where Lebron comes in. He is supported to lead New York basketball's equivalent of the promised land. Many New Yorkers really dont even care about basketball.

If Lebron leaves, the cavaliers will lose their everything. Lebron is like their back bone, without him they are barely anything.  But, Lebron may not go anywhere . He has already said that Cleveland "does have an edge" in keeping him.

Should he stay or should he go? Most likely should stay, if he do, and they work on things that need to be worked on, they will have a better shot in winning the championship in 2011. But knowing Lebron James, he do not like losing, and he really do not losing early in the playoffs.

Lebron is tired of having the best record in the NBA then losing early in the playoffs, like why have the best record if your gonna flunk in the playoffs? Lebron has a very hard choice to make. His choice better be smart so that he can get him a ring.

HIRING TOM IZZO

http://ukbigbluenation.files.wordpress.com/2010/03/izzo.jpg

The Cavilers want to hire Tom Izzo as their head coach but should they? They offered the head coach job to him on June 6th. He is the head coach of the Michigan State basketball team and one of the most sought-after coaches. He has been hit with many NBA jobs, but he do not want to leave Michigan. The Cleveland Cavaliers did not lose no intrest in him. In addition, they are doing almost anything to keep lebron in his home town and making him sign back with them when July rolls around.

The Cavaliers first offer to Izzo came a day before that, June 5th. That's not a suprise either, as they would want to hear back from Izzo before making any kind of a statement about what their dream coach might be thinking.

If their dream coach take this job, it maybes mean that he was offerd one of those contracts that Cleveland made it impossible to pass up.

He would be taking Mike Brown spot as head coach after they decided to fire him after losing in the second round of the 2010 NBA Playoffs. Mike Brown will have to find another coaching job, but it has left the Cavaliers struggling to get a big name that would help keep Lebron in his home town.

For Mr.Izzo it is a hard choice. In this situation he wouldn't want this job as the head coach if Lebron is not coming back. They are in a position to make another title run in the 2011 NBA Playoffs if "The King" stays. If "The King" leaves, this team will continue to struggle in the playoffs. In addition, they will not be enticing for Tom Izzo.

The best choice for Tom Izzo is to turn down this offer now or tell them that he will re-consider the offer in July, when he know how their roster is going to look.

WHERE WILL HE GO?

http://bettorsedge.files.wordpress.com/2009/04/lebron-james3.jpg

With only eyes on whether Lebron or "King james" is leaving his home team and town, it seems like they are going to lose their all without any championships in any sports.

Will he stay? Or will he go?

With many things running threw his mind about him and his team, this is a hard choice. Lebron wants a trophy ! And at this point looking like he would do anything and go anywhere. His Teammate, Delonte West is going out with his mom. One of his star point guards! New York wanting him, Not only wanting, needing him!. As Lebron says, "He would rather be on a big team with other stars and not be the guy'

The Bulls? will never get him. He could never live up to the legend that was Michael Jordan. He is in a very hard situation. Alot of star players would like all the shine and not play with him. As you can see, he may not be the best player, Kobe is his next competition. Kobe would like the ball but gives it up when under pressure and is rings to prove that he is a great player.

Where ever he go he will he make a lot of money! But if he go to New York he will make money he never even heard of before. But Lebron should not look at the money, He needs a Ring.

If Cleveland lose Lebron, that arena will be empty and their "King" may get a ring but not in his city, the city he was drafted out of after high school.

FIRING MIKE BROWN

Preview

After a three consecutive game lost by the Boston Celtics in the conference semifinals, the Cavs fired coach Mike Brown sunday may 23rd.  It ended his run as the franchise's 17th coach after five seasons in which broke numerous team records and was named the NBA's 2008-09 Coach of the year.

The Cavilers majority owner Dan Gilbert, who hand picked Brown and gave him his first head coaching job after an extensive coaching search in 2005, is believed to have been the driving force behind the decision.

Some Cavilers players, including Lebron James, also seemed to lose patience with Brown after some of hisadjustments and rotations didn't work against the Celtics in the play-offs.

The Team had trouble with the rotation after having to incorporate Shaquille O'Neal back into the team in the play-offs after he missed the final six weeks of the season because of his injury. Instead of his regular dominate starting five, Mike Brown started a five he never started bfore. This messed up the way the team plays.

The day Mike Brown was hired, June 2, 2005, he promised he would make the Cavs a defense-based team. it was a pledge he would back up, using defense to win 100 regular games and four play-offs series in just his first two seasons.

After some improvement in his first season, Brown's help and recover defensive system started to take hold. In the 2006-07 season, the Cavs allowed just 92 points a game in the regular season and just 86 points in the playoffs as the Cavs reached their first ever finals.

When the Cavs won a team record of 66 games in the 08-09 season, the Cavs allowed just 91 points a game and 43 percent opponent shooting.

But over the last two seasons, Brown's defense has struggled in the clutch. In losing in the Eastern Conference Finals in 2009, the Cavs allowed 103 points per game and 48 percent shooting. In getting ousted by the Celtics in the second round this year, they gave up 100 points and 47 precent shooting a game !

WHERE WILL HE GO?

Game 6 did not go how every Cleveland fan thought it would go. Don't get me wrong, Lebron played a excellent game but the Boston Celtics played a very excellent game. Lebron ending the game with another triple double and a very good game, 27 points 19 rebounds, 10 assist but turned the ball over 9 times, not so good for the Cleveland. Now the Cavs chance to going to the finals are done.

With everybody eyes not on the Finals nor the championship, everyone is worrying about where Lebron is going. Is it New York? New York will do everything in their best ability to get him and another superstar. This is now the talk of the NBA. People are not even worrying about will Howard get a ring or will Kobe get another ring.

This is a very hard choice for Mr.James. Will he stay with his home town since high school? or will he leave? If he leave he would not have a better chance of making it to the finals because now he have a very excellent team and they just need to work on some things thats all.

My opinion is he should stay in Cleveland like look is what he is doing. two time MVP and best pre-season recird two years in a row. Stay Lebron Stay !

YOUR BEST CHANCE IS CLEVELAND!
